MEET OUR STAFF

Hi! I’m Patrick Bliss. I’ve been the music director for RMC since August of 2022 and have enjoyed watching our team grow and mature in their talents and passion for creating music in Christ’s service.

I’ve been a professional musician for nearly twenty years and a worship leader for almost ten. When life gets stressful and it feels like everything is a test, I’ve always found renewed strength in making and performing gospel-centered music. Ever since I got started with church music, I have looked forward to those rehearsal days and Sunday mornings as a respite. I look forward to sharing that peace and inspiration with my team and with anyone else who feels a calling to music ministry!

I live on a farm in Trenton with my wife and our two kids where we enjoy God’s natural gifts every day.

Hi! My name is Heather and I have been the children’s director at Richlands Methodist Church since 2019. I have always had a passion for Jesus and teaching children so what better way to put them together than Sunday mornings. I married my best friend 25 years ago right here in this church. We have been blessed with three amazing, talented children. We love our life together and spend most days working on our family farm. I would love for your little one to join our children’s ministry, THRIVE, where we focus on living a life with Jesus by our sides so that we can live the best version of ourselves.

My name is Jen Hardy and I have been serving at Richlands Methodist Church as a volunteer for youth events and weekly Sunday youth meetings since 2021. I was given the honor of becoming the Youth Director in August of 2022 and have loved every minute spent with our youth at RMC. For over 21 years, I have been an educator for Onslow County Schools. God has used my passion for teaching, to lead me to serve in youth ministry. As a military child, our transient family roots were planted in Onslow County in 1989. My husband and I have been blessed with 26 years of marriage and a wonderful 15-year-old daughter. We enjoy just spending time together and camping with friends. I look forward to growing our Youth Ministry, S.U.R.G.E., where your middle and high school student will learn to serve under a real God every day.

Hello. My name is Adelia and I have been the church administrator since 2017. I joined Richlands Methodist Church in 1971 and married my high school sweetheart in 1984. Our two daughters were baptized and later married here. My grandchildren were also baptized here. This church has been a part of my life for many years and I am so grateful. RMC is my home and I welcome you to come visit with me in the office. I would love to hear about you and share with you the wonderful things that RMC has to offer!
